2nd clip or 1st clip no armor. I've been seeing mixed opinions on them.

Installed my set tonight. Running an ICON AAL in the rear and the stance is perfect imo.

It feels so much better than the stock "bilsteins".

Truck came with the eibach kit installed by the previous owner but I’m not sure what setting it’s on. There’s also a rear aal. The guy before me also put the 285s on and they rub hard when I come into a bump to hot. Getting a cmc in a couple of weeks hope that will fix it.

Finished up my suspension and got an alignment today. SPC UCA’s and an Icon AAL. Handles and drives so much better than the stock off road suspension. Ride is more firm, in a good way.
Been raining all day so no glamour shots. Thanks to Tandem Offroad for helping me sort everything out.

Anyone have trouble with their Eibach shocks corroding badly? Granted, I live in central PA where the winters are harsh and the road treatments are brutal, but my rear shocks are getting pretty ugly in a short amount of time. My fronts still look ok.

Thinking of taking them off and painting them to make them look nicer and provide some level of protection. Kinda sucks, because they looked so good and I’m so happy with their performance.

I live in eastern PA. I don't think there is any way around it for us. The elements we are exposed to in the north east just don't bode well for vehicles. Most you can do it try and keep em clean and maybe protect them with something but it's all about maintenance.

Yeah, I hear ya. It’s a tough battle. I do a pretty good job of keeping the under carriage clean. The rest of the truck looks pretty damn good underneath. The rear shocks are the only thing that’s bothering me. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not terrible, but they’re not definitely not bright silver like they were.
