Does anyone have any idea how much clearance there is under the tailgate in the slot where guys mount their brakelight strip? I’m looking at mounting a couple white pods for reverse there and need to know how thick the pod can be before I order it. Obviously don’t want it to get crushed in the tailgate when it opens. From what I can tell, I might have around 3/4”, but I wanted to see if anyone has has any issues running anything thicker than the normal brakelight strip there.

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:.

Go buy some modeling clay, put it where you want the light and open the tailgate. This will show you exactly how much space you have, won't damage anything -- and it is cheap too!
