The Pixel 6 just showed up. Let's see how good Google has gotten at copying my data from my old phone to the new. You used to have to root and use SMS transfer apps if you wanted to keep your messages. I used to be really into rooted Android and custom ROMs. I'm not so much anymore. Google has taken all the best of those old ROMs and made a truly usable phone.

It's a cabled connection but it's fast. Just moved 90GB of data from the old phone to the new phone in 5 minutes. Everything looks good so far.
