Tire bottoming out on them/tire burping and hitting the sensors, the valve stem itself is fine, the electrical/sensor side breaks off. Mine actually communicated and worked for a couple thousand miles just flying around inside

You can do that? I don't care about not running them, but I couldn't deal with the light. I had a Silverado with a perpetual check engine light. Never again

hell yeah you can! I got tired of the light also, it never wanted to burn out the bulb/led. It was that or everytime i went in to get anything done tire or alignment wise with my truck, les schwab or DT would always try to sell me new ones and claim that since my truck was made after 2005 that it was REQUIRED to have them installed and functional under federal law. I called BS, and then they changed their tune to, well it came equiped from the factory so youre required to have them. Now no one has any idea if I have tpms until they open the tire up. On my 2006, the tpms receiver module was tucked up in and behind the hvac controls, but just unreachable so you literally have to tear the whole center dash apart to get to it. Cut one wire and ground another, *poof* lightbgone. You have a 2015? From what ive read, toyota changed location of the tpms receiver a handful of times throughout the 2nd gen production.

I'll sell you a piece of electrical tape to put on the dash like I did

I think desoldering the led off the board would be a bit easier

oooooh, i dunno.... have you ever tried to pull the dash cluster? i think that is just as challenging, and even more delicate. id probably end up cracking the lense on the cluster trying to get it out, or break 75% of the parts that interlock with everyting and my dash would never look the same again.

oh derp, i forget when browsing TW on a desktop computer, you see a lot more info in peoples profiles that you do on the mobile browser. youve got a 2014.

Me clipping random wires would have a similar result.

Pretty sure this guy is actually on speed, but if you did pull the dash you could also remove the door beeper

previous owner of my truck disabled the seatbelt chime, and also the high tone beep when locking and unlocking the doors. when i say disabled, i mean, im not sure if he just cut out the buzzer, chime/tone speaker or had it programed out... :notsure:

for the door chime, i took the B pillar panel off and found the door open trigger switch. installed a bypass switch so that when i enable the switch, the truck doesnt realize that the door has even opened. i can never remember which way the switch needs to be for normal operation and its bit me in the ass a few times now. when its engaged, the ecu doesnt receive the signal that the door is or was opened at any time when the switch is bypassed. it gets fucky when you have it bypassed, and unlock the doors with your fob, then enter the truck via the drivers door. ive put stuff in the truck that way before and also set my truck keys on the tranny tunnel then went back inside the house to grab more stuff or whatever it may be, and close the truck door. when i come back the fucker is locked.

im pretty sure all the tacomas with keyless entry are programed to relock themselves after "X" seconds if the ecu doesnt see a door open. if a door is opened within "X" amount of time, it doesnt relock the doors. i couldnt figure out wtf had happened until one day my kid was screwing around with my fob and he hit the door unlock button while i was digging around in the tool box. first i heard the door locks unlock, and i think its something like 30seconds goes by and then i hear the door locks trigger again, but at that time he didnt have the key fob in his hands anymore. i tried it myself a few times and at that point i realized the truck relocks itself. :frusty:

We have been looking for a house. It's been rough, tough, and by God damnit, we had enough...but then I saw this home with this room and I knew I found home. Hopefully we get the bid... For real though, much respect for this layout :fistbump:

There’s no better feeling than smoking your kid with that pump action mega dart in a nerf war. Especially when your minding you own business and they mag dump on you and run off, but you go outside and start sliding open windows and wait… but all good things come to an end and even the nerf guns when down when the canoe flipped.
