Thanks. Yeh it seems to be coming from the braking system, But I did not leave it on long since I was not sure if the truck was going to shake apart. lol

Mine is real loud on the lower settings, but quiets down on the mid to higher settings. I tried it with a 4x4 wood chock to see if it would climb over it (and uphill at the same time) and it did. I guess mine is working correctly. But yeah the first time you hear that noise it is a little unsettling.

I’m scheduled for tomorrow morning to get the TSB -0045-21 update done. Service advisor (that I trusted) asked if I had an extended warranty? He said that they would have to charge me a fee if I didn’t. Never heard of charging for a TSB on a truck with 14,000 miles. Thought that was really odd. But I have a 10yr extended warranty, so I’m covered either way. I always thought all TSB’s are covered under the bumper to bumper warranty?

I hope so, I have the same issue and would like the TSB to be applied, I don't have an extended warranty.

It’s supposed to be covered under emissions warranty I thought I saw when I read the TSB. Thought is was weird but then thought it was to give people a little more time. I was not charged.

Ive never had an issue getting a TSB applied if the issue was able to be replicated by the dealer. Ive had my old Wranglers in a dozen times for TSBs and my truck once for transmission shifting TSB. Sounds like they were trying to sell you an extended warranty in my opinion. Id call corporate and submit a complaint about that as thats some shady business practices.

Your advisor doesn’t know what he’s talking about. You don’t need an extended warranty for a TSB on a 2 year old truck with 14K.

Is there a link to print out the TSB? I would like to show up to the dealer with it.

I was reading this earlier from the beginning but got side-tracked and only made it to page 20 or so. Glad someone brought it back up again! And REALLY EXCITED to see a TSB to fix this. I've only tried mine on flat ground as a test early on and not needed it on a trail...yet. Going fishing tomorrow and will try it for sure.

I have a question if someone can clear this up please and, it may some others too.

I have the KDMax6.0 tune and would like to know if the TSB-0045-21 is going to wipe that out? I had the tune installed in Colorado and have since moved to Phoenix and if it's wiped, I can't go tot he same guy and would have to pay someone here to have it re-installed.

I believe it’s post #474 on page 24 of this thread. I printed it out and took it to the dealer as well.

Got the TSB-0045-21 done today and my CC is finally working properly. Very pleased with the outcome. Before my truck could not climb over a simple 4x4 in the driveway, now it goes over the same wooden 4x4’s like a billy goat climbing a mountain :bananadance:

I went fishing yesterday and tested mine, epic fail. :frusty: Steep gravel incline with a rock obstruction near the top. It crawled up the incline in #2 setting and stalled immediately when I hit the rock. Turned it up to 3, 4 & 5 with zero movement. A little gas and it goes right over.

So I have the same question I had a few posts ago...anyone with a KDMax6.0 have the TSB done yet? I'm afraid the update might wipe my Tune? I'm also afraid of a confrontation with the dealer because I have a lift and larger tires.

Or, do I have to be the first?:notsure:

I have to be honest, I use the Tune everyday vs CC which I have never needed. I hate to wipe my Tune for something like this but, CC is ALSO something I paid for and expect to work.

Perhaps there is someone in Arizona who can install the TSB for me and re-install KDMax6.0 if required at the same time? Anyone?

It’ll wipe the tune. My tuner was able to apply the TSB and reapply the tune after
