Great marketing whizbang. I can imagine the automotive HVAC engineer's response to this request.

The wife's CR-V has this feature. She is typically cold, I'm typically hot. I'm waiting for the day when she has the heat on, I have the AC on and it rains in the center of the car.

 

The vent flaps are the most import ant part of the “dual zone climate control”

 

I love it. The wife is hot and I am cold that is about it.

 

Me too, it actually works! She is always cold and I run warm so it’s nice to be able to adjust each side. Her car is single set and she loves to turn the heat up to the sweat lodge setting.
