So took a couple more trips. Flew out to Montana for some camping. Went to Wyoming Colorado and Idaho. Fixed up most of the house. Baby came 4 weeks ago. I’m tired. lol
    Taco has been sitting.
Blew up my rear driveshaft again. Was bouncing up a ledge and came down hard on the rear. Twisted my weld that I didn’t burn in good enough.
Alternator went out when trying to winch out too.
next trip is February to Harlan. Got some time.

That sounds like a fun trip, idaho and montana are badass. If you are ever looking for people to wheel with let me know, I just moved down to NC from IL and should have my truck in the state by the end of the year and itching to get out wheeling as much as possible.

Yeah man. I’ll let you know if we make it up the Harlan in February. I’m sure there’s more rides happening but I’m a little out of the loop.
    I loved it out west.
I would move in a heartbeat, but I know the wife wouldn’t come with me. Lol

Tacoma has taken several beat downs and not given me any issues.

I hit a rock and a tree so I need new fenders.

I appreciate it. It works too. Taken a few impacts already.
My test was jacking the whole truck up with it. :D

Headed to Good Evening Ranch next weekend with it.
If you’ve never been there, go check it out. They’ve got a steakhouse and bar on site. Cabins to rent etc.
I picked up a gooseneck and a camper. (Camper needs a little love)
Mounted it up. Still need to make a more permanent mount for it.

should be able to fit two rigs on it.

The build looks sweet. I'm in the start of my sas as well. Just finished torching, grinding and prepping the frame. I am also using the same slider boxes you are but haven't set them up yet. Luckily.

By chance, can you show where you actually plated the box and how much did you have to clearance the area you pointed out. And your placement of it, since I'm also using 1st gen taco leafs also, I just don't want to be limited on up or down travel from the box.

If I did this again, I would 3 link it.

I cut the whole front out of the slider box.
I would just weld a plate to the bottom of the slider box.

Can you go alittle more into detail? I've been following your build and was going to basic follow what you did with the leafs whenever I get around to doing a sas.
