I do like those wheels. What tires are you running and are you at stock lift?

I went with one of the knock off's for a couple hundred less. I was painting it black either way so to me I was happy to save some beer money.

How is the quality of the knock off’s? Also how is the the fitment, do they line up pretty good? Was also thinking about getting me one to save some money.

Seems the bolts are in the wrong location as shipped, at least to me. After I figured out where to put the long bolts and the short bolts, it was smooth sailing. I will say, this thing will bounce off more than a few rocks and keep on doing it's job. Here, it is hanging out in the driveway.

Awesome, thank you! When you say the bolts are in the wrong direction, are they pre installed in the bolt holes?

Yep, the one I got, the bolts were held in place by those flimsy washer thinges. Would have been easier to figure out my self where the bolts went to start with. Only 6 bolts, if you use a couple of friends or stands to hold it up there in place you will figure it out easy enough. I would love to tell you where where the short and long bolts go but damn if I can remember. If. you get one, shoot me a Pm and I will reverse figure it out for you. One side one bolt at a time should be fairly easy to figure out.

Medium length bolts with short spacers in the front. Longest bolts with longest spacers in the middle. Shortest bolts (or reuse the ones from the original skid) in the back.

I personally have had both the knock off and the OEM trd pro skid plates. Love my OEM but the knockoff was great too compared to the trd off-road skid honestly

Totally worth it IMO. Looks good, makes oil changes far easier and faster. Oh, and it does what it says it will do if skid on some reasonable earth.

yes it is worth it given the number of little chips it has from road debris and the fact that it makes oil changes easier.

I agree, wait until black Friday deals to get the best price.

Thanks 265 70 17 ko2s. I installed pro fox shocks front and rear that I got from a TW member. It leveled it out perfectly. 20210319_190818.jpg 20210319_190848.jpg

This right here seems logical...considering I added a Talon CAT plate on my Sport (which does not have the TRD Pro skid plate) and just removed and replaced the regular allen/hex bolts with security bolts. It's a PITA having to keep removing the bolts. Plus, having to use manual torqueing as opposed to cordless impact drill which can cause damaged/locked bolt heads.

Where did you see that price at previously? The OEM Parts Store one is the best I've found.
I'm doing my best to not order things before all of the deals are released, but I'm getting really mouse button click happy over here...
