Mid afternoon hammock session

 

Took the dogs out, brought the camera out playing around and letting the dogs run freely through the desert. Washoe valley area, north east of jumbo grade Nevada.

 

What light bar do you have in the roof rack? I like that setting.

 

It is a Baja designs 40" S8. It originally was amber but amber is terrible for NV desert. Had to go back to white with the spot lenses. the S8 series has a amber DRL function you can wire in.

 

Vinton County public roads. Couldn't get to technical cause I was by myself, it was an unplanned trip on a rain day off work.

 

The sierras finally got the storm we have been waiting for forever! dumped snow and rain for two days. Went out and took the doggos to play in the snow, lab puppies love the snow. got stuck up to the sliders as well. good thing for traction boards and shovels. I was a huge mess. The last photo , you can see the start of the sierras.




I love the Sierra Nevada mountain range so many great lakes, places to see.

JK...this is Trona Pinnacles. Very cool area and has been on a lot of truck / suv commercial. Awesome area to fly the drone around and do some camping.

Southern Oregon coast dunes at sunset. Calm the day after the big storm. Waves were amazing - thirty feet on Saturday, winds ended up being ~40mph (average for a S storm).


Second and third pics are from Shore Acres State Park where open ocean waves hit an abrupt rock shelf causing skyward waterfalls of sea water and a near constant sea haze from above.

Drove around Turquoise Lake outside Leadville. Thought about doing Hagerman Pass but was alone and the snow getting up there was enough for a Tx guy.

I think once these 35s wear out, probably in a year, I'll switch up to the 37" Kenda! By then I should be geared and Lt'd so it'll work out

 

I got my gears, but thinking I should just go to 37s and skip 35s. I was leaning towards the geolanders in 37s, I can't seem to find the kenda 37s anywhere...

 

The 37" Rt is on their sales sheet, so should be out anytime. They also are coming out with a new Mt, interested to see what that looks like
