These trucks have a really odd way of emanating their issues, noises, etc. I can't stand it, but they are pretty solid for what they are. I'm glad you finally got it figured it out.

I just ordered the coupler, oil, and gasket. Might as well do that at the same time as the spark plugs. Also have the cam gears collecting dust in my office that need to be installed.

    Yes sir.

    -edit-

If you don't want to spend the money on the syringe kit, I have some 50mL syringes and tubing that I can send you for free if you're interested. That goes for anyone.

I may need a syringe actually..

I was going to change the S/C oil last weekend when I did the plugs, but couldn't find my syringe.

Might be able to pick it up from you later this month. We'll be taking 9 days off and heading up to Portland to pick up our new camper for the truck, then making our way back home for the next week. adventuring and camping along the way. We wanted to hit up San Fran on our way back down, as neither of us have been.

Unless getting screamed at by some crackhead and having your car raided is on your bucket list, just stay in the truck and drive on through and enjoy the sights that way. Even if none of that happens the parking meters rob you for $5.50 an hour. Parking tickets? I got one last year for $98.

@Kelvin is pretty much spot on correct. Do NOT leave anything valuable in the car. Nor think that youre being crafty by stashing stuff in the bins behind/beneath the back seats. It sounds bad but the thieves have eyes that spotted you from the time you parked in the public lot to when your on the tour boat to Alcatraz knowing your vehicle is unprotected for hours.

Ive seen so many tourists thinking they'll hit their vacation running by stopping at a tourist spot right after they land...only to have their luggage stolen when they leave their rental car.

Appreciate it guys. It'll definitely just be a passing through kinda thing on our way back down. No stopping for Tourist stuff. Just want to drive/see the Golden Gate. Maybe see some of ya'll fine people and some Minitruck guys up that way.
