I met a junkyard cat yesterday while I was getting parts. Luckily it's friendly!

 

He was so annoyed he couldn't even look at me.

 

Tigger, old girl. She gets annoyed because I don't sit still for very long. When it's time I've had enough, she'll make so much noise....protesting

All’s well here. Elliot hanging in there. I’m g icing sub q fluid every other day. We’ll see how long that gives him

 

Is it kidney disease? How is he with the needle stick? Our 2 were diagnosed with it and we do sub q LR every 3 days. They really don't like the jab and that's as frequent as they can tolerate. Started with an 18 gauge needle then switched to a thin wall 20 gauge. The smaller diameter makes a difference for the jab but it definitely is slower to get fluids in. A little catnip after makes them happy again. Ours responded well to the fluids - perked up and gained some weight back. I hope yours does as well.

his appetite is slowly decreasing. He’s still quite active though. he’s pretty good with the jab for fluids and sits for the duration. He gets a tiny bit impatient near the end but I thinks it’s because he knows how long it takes.

 

If you're vet didn't talk to you about mirtazapine (meowzapine ) to stimulate his appetite then you might want to bring it up. It's working wonders on ours. Our 12 pound boy went to about 8 pounds rapidly, but with meowzapine, a diet switch to kidney specific food and sub q he's gotten up to 10 pounds. We also give them phosphate binder...

 

Wife went looking for Beanie Weanie yesterday and while calling her name she heard meow coming from neighbors storage shed. She knocked on his door and he let her out. Now wife has her locked in the bathroom
She seems content in there though and has food and water. I think my daughter is going to take her during the week at house we're renting for her. (College)

 

now looking at that picture my feet look filthy. I believe it's the black dye from socks I wear, when my feet sweat. That's my story anyway.

 

Cats do like stinky stuff...

 

Just picked a bobbed tail kitten, the kittens had no tails in the entire litter. Little bit smaller than I like, I can't take her to get fixed until she is 3lbs, then off to the farm she goes, probably gonna take atleast a month to get her fatten up.
We picked one the uglier ones so my wife's friend can adopt the others out easier, and I don't care after I let her free at farm, along as she hangs arounds and hunts.

 

Awe, she's not ugly. Very cute lil girl, and I hope she's happy on the farm.

 

If you saw the others ones, which I didn't take pictures of, then ya understand.
