Cool to see some more non-Pros arriving.

LR is hard to photograph. This photo does a good job.

No matter what, though, it never looks dingy in real life. You'll love it.

In fact.... Mine is usually actually dingy with limestone gravel dust and you can hardly tell it's complety filthy.

OTD is kinda of an unfair comparison because different states have different taxes and registration fee's, and trades reduce taxes, add-ons like Environmental Protection or whatever else etc. I wish people would just say what the negotiated price on the truck was including any extras that may have been thrown in.

Like, I paid MSRP (no discounts) for my MT Pro, but my roof rack was thrown in, it didn't come with mud flaps, but did come with the TRD performance intake.

What I paid OTD, was significantly lower. I traded in my Gen II and negotiated a crazy high number on trade-in, which reduced the taxes. I bought it as business truck, paid cash, so registration tax, title was slightly different... so my OTD price was less than $25k.

Which number actually gives you the most information? Certainly not my OTD. :)

    Gonna be $49.3k OTD.

$3k market adjustment, no other addendum. That's comfortably the best I could do out of 7 dealerships within 70 miles.

No trade-in, though. I'll recoup most to all of the cost over MSRP selling my used car.

I'm in SoCal, so everything is more expensive here. I have a city tax that added $500 to the cost, for example, that folks in unincorporated areas of my county wouldn't get hit with.

I was looking for an LR pro and struck out last year which was a bummer.

What's the current strategy for getting this color in an OR? I called a couple of dealers and they didn't have any. Keep calling and waiting? I put a deposit down at one dealer and was given a vague timeline so not sure if I should just sit tight or not. Austin TX area.

You will probably have a good chance of finding one at the dealership. There was a good slection of AG DCSB OR at most of the dealerships I looked at this year. Toyota might do the same with LR.

I haven’t seen a single army green haha! Call all dealerships within 80mile radius of you and have them put you on a list and when one of them gets an allocation hope they call you. That’s what happened with mine!

I did the EXACT same thing as you. Put in an order and deposit for the exact truck I wanted but with a very unknown timeline and then kept pestering other dealers hoping they’d get an allotment since the deposit for the other was refundable. Got a call last week they got one here with an ETA of 12/14 (cheaper price too barely under msrp) so I put a deposit down on that and cancelled other one.

Lol I meant without trade in. At the end of the day msrp doesn’t matter much then cause they can be screwing you on yoir trade but give you 2k off msrp and vice versa.

    Congrats.

    Manual or Auto?

I read that manual production was done a while back, not sure if that's true.

Picked up my LR OR Sunday.

I have a Retrax Pro tonneau, Yakima racks that are compatible with the retrax, and an exhaust tip to add this weekend or next.

It is subjective, but Lunar Rock ORs are either being pre sold or sell in days, even with higher market adjustment in some cases than other colors. It is popular, which will be good for resale, if that ever is a need.

I like it of course, otherwise I'd be in Army Green or maybe MGM. It has a unique look.

Loving it so far, even just for short daily commutes. BSM and rear view mirror defrost are small, but very helpful upgrades for me. Though we didn't get an OR for standard safety features of course . . . .

Which is kinda' ironic. When it first showed up on TW, it was panned pretty heavily for being a girls color, for being wimpy, for looking like smashed peas, for looking like mint ice cream.

I think its one of the best colors out there, on any vehicle right now. And it's telling that others are starting to copy it, like Fords Cactus color.

When I first talked to the sales guy about colors I was looking for I told him I wasn't sure about it bc I had never seen one in person. A few days later one dude backed out of his purchase for one and I got an email asking me if I'd like to come over and check it out. I liked that it was pretty close to the discontinued cement color with just a hint of green to it. Someone on TW described it as "Cemint", and I thought it was a pretty appropriate description.
