I have the DD SAE Pros on my truck right now for fog lights and are SO much better than the BD sports they replaced (yeah, a little apples and oranges, I know). I liked basically everything about them more, and I say that as a big fan of BD products.

As bright as the pros are though, RIP drivers in little cars coming head-on with your Max power ones.

I'm surprised he was getting flashed. They're SAE approved. I had BD sports on my truck and only got flashed occasionally. I swapped over to these and haven't been flashed since. Could be a PEBCAK issue.

I’m team Baja but for SAE fogs, DD is far superior. I’ve got no problem admitting that.

I was surprised too, my guess is not aimed very well or something. Idk, doesn’t bother me any. I primarily want them for back roads, i.e. heading somewhere to go wheeling. This is the easiest way to add some aux lights without having to add extra wiring or mounts or interior switches of whatever. I likely won’t have them turned on for everyday driving.

I’m also car sitting for my in laws for a few months so the tundra won’t get driven as much. Which is nice with the price of gas right now.

Little bit of this and that
Hell the DD SAE Sports are a huge upgrade in comparison to most fogs. Those Max's will be like turning on the sun in comparison.

I love my pros in selective yellow, only run them in nasty road weather/fog and obviously on the trails!

I've had the sports in the past so I'm incredibly curious to see what the max's are like.

They have a tiny bit of adjustment if they're like the Tacoma mount. I have mine most of the way down. And it seems that's the ticket.

    Yeah that thing is nuts.

The fogs are pretty low on the tundra too so I'm hoping that helps as well.

It did on my Mustang! I was running BD Pros on that thing and never got flashed. I couldn't believe it. They were brighter than the headlights!

Agreed. I bottomed my fogs out as well and they def are much more "fog light" now.

Or peanut butter. That was my favorite unless I could trade something for the jam/jelly.

    Fat curved mirror = epic

    How are the side lights?

Edit: well I guess it's too light out to determine if they're good or not

I didn't wire them in. I didn't splurge for the upgraded reverse lights so I didn't bother going through the effort of routing the wire through the door, into the cab and tapping into the reverse circuit. I figure if I need better reverse lights, I'll add them to the trailer itself. Maybe some rock lights that trigger on in reverse.

Gotcha, Yeah something on the trailer itself might prove more helpful
