Just in case you're on the fence about the DSM... get off and make the purchase! I PROMISE it is very much worth it! It's absolutely the BEST phone mount I've ever owned. I was on the fence and finally pulled the trigger. It was shipped out and arrived very quickly.

Upon opening the package, first and foremost, I noticed the quality of the product. It was nice and weighty, seems to be all metal and powder coated or rubberized coating of some sort. It matches the interior great. Install wasn't difficult at all. Maybe 10-15 minutes. I went with the mighty magnet option. If you choose the same, make sure you don't have your finger in between the phone and magnet upon placing it as the magnet is VERY strong!

Also, let me say, the customer service and attentiveness etc, is PHENOMENAL!

I don't know what the future holds, but for as long as I own a taco, I'm a customer for life!

 

Will the magnetic mount work with apples MagSafe without using a plate on the back of the phone?

 

Unfortunately no, I'm working on getting something that is compatible though
