Its time to change the front wheel bearings out, knowing what's involved Id like to purchase and extra set of spindles and press new bearings into them. I have manual hubs, and downtime isn't an option. Press work will take a day because I really don't want to deal with it again, rather pay this time.

Can I use auto hub spindles if I press in manual hub bearings and hubs? They are more common and appear to be identical.

Also which manual hubs are compatible? Can I use them from a different vehicle? One of mine has some damage and is not repairable.

    Spindles are identical.

Only difference in any of them is the tab for the abs.

Manual hubs only come on 1st Gen Tacoma's; unsure what you meant by other vehicles.

You can buy replacement manual hubs new, or buy a used one and rebuild it.

    Super easy.

    Awesome thank you.

I'm not fancy enough for ABS. I'm assuming the LCA is the same deal? Trying to get spares and swap the consumables over then bolt the parts on.

LCAs are the same between both variants, and even Prerunners.

You can even source them from a 3rd Gen 4Runner, but the sway bar mounts differ between Tacomas and 4Runners IIRC.
