The bad contractors far out number the good ones, especially in our area. Also, majority of people won’t pay for a good contractor. Home owners want the job done as fast as possible. You get quickness or quality, can’t get both.

Final cut of the lawn for the season is done. I put the trickle chargers on the mowers, since they are in an unheated garage. They will come off sometime in April. Now to get through Fall and winter with as little shoveling as possible.

The sun was out when I started but around noon it went in. When I finished around 1:30, it was 46 with a real feel of 40. I must say, I was chilled to the bone. Of course I had a t-shirt on with a light zippy hoody, which wasn't zipped - and no cap or gloves, so I guess it was my fault. The first thing I did was have a hot cup of coffee, even before I got a shower. It is still cloudy and gray here.

It was 32 out this morning in my area. And even colder in the warehouse this morning considering the whole warehouse is refrigerated. After my shift the boss had me go pick up the 22' straight truck from the mechanic shop. That thing is a pos. Lol but apparently I will be getting that truck so if I do he better give me the pay for hr that he had posted online. Anywho tomorrow will be my first full week at this job. And it's not bad still learning all the names of different produce.

34 degrees this morning, frost on the windshield. The afternoon was nice enough that I put fuel stabilizer in the old wagon and drove 50 miles to mix it in :). I did put the tailgate window and the passenger side window up -- even with the heater on that was too cold.

I know a kick ass Italian place if you like that. It is Rizzo’s in Crabtree, worth the little drive from Latrobe. I went to school with the one owner for 1-12 grades. Awesome food.

go around the corner then and get some bacon from Bardine’s…

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Yesterday morning it was 28 - first frost of the year. This morning it's 25. Brrr.

We went out to spend our normal 15 minutes in the hot tub at 6:30 AM yesterday - saw a truck sitting on the road at the bridge they are replacing by the house. Within a few minutes 2 more arrived. The work crew was there all day digging the diversion trench to re-route the stream from under the bridge while they replace it. Worked until a little after 5 PM when they left.

Today we will winterize the bee hives and pull off the mite treatment strips. Hopefully we'll have a hive or two that will survive the winter.

    Be safe out there!!!

32 this morning on my way to work. One other bike in the parking lot today. Guess one of our machinists, and fellow Tacoma owner, decided to chance it and ride.
