Thanks guys. They're HREW, not DOM, so I'm curious to see how they hold up. But hey, I only got them for $140. :D

true. but those few times I do wheel, I hope they don't bend to shit, especially since they'll be welded on.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Dot you know the wall thickness? I think Relentless uses HREW and not DOM as well and his shit is strong so I think you will be ok.

yeah I mainly use .120 wall HREW, but DOM is an option too. The HREW is plenty strong as long as the seams are faced inward.

Hey I think I can make this one. I dont have any mods to do, but I am a pretty good welder and would be happy to teach the basics.

^ Celtic, I've been trying to get someone to help me weld a rear bumper that I'm fabing up, is there anyway you can help me do this in the next week? I could pay for your crevices.

I would love to help you out but I don't currently have a welder to use. I am working on getting one but that is a month or two away. If you have access to the equipment the I would say let's do it. I normally have Friday and Saturday off. During the week I am out of town. Let me know.

 I see a rear bumper and heavy duty skid plates in your future! :D So did it come with mounting legs, frame plates, and gussets? If not you can check these out http://www.trail-gear.com/rock-slider-gusset-kit. I personally would go with a larger gusset but it already comes precut and ready to go. You can always just fab up your own stuff. I know there is also a bolt on kit but can't remember where I saw that.

It came with 9 legs and 9 L- plates. I'm assuming 4 for each side and an extra one just in case. The L plates don't look big enough to fit any gussets though. Should I just invest in the $25 kit in your link?

I'm sure you don't do any hard core wheelin so as long as your not slamming your sliders on the rocks there not going to bend.
