    Thank you sir
Thanks Russ! Yeah this job has given me a lot of time to practice. I still think I’ve got a ways to go, but it’s starting to improve for sure
Man I love a lowered taco, but they are tough to work on. This one will have to stay lifted for that reason! Jack stands are no fun lol

Got finished up with the passenger side tail pipe today and it sounds way better now. Had to cut and rotate the top section and then fit a muffler on that while keeping clearance around everything. Finally I found the sweet spot that would work with the bends I have to make the exit work too. I also built an exhaust hanger and welded a ~2” extension on to make the tail pipes roughly the same length. Pretty happy with how it turned out! I think it sounds better than my old 2.5” exhaust

Bravo mate. That sounds very very proper. Must be quite nice at idle, and cruising, yes?

Thanks buddy, I’m really pleased with it. Yeah it sounds way better at idle and cruise now too. Just getting the volume under control cleaned up a lot of the raspiness throughout a lot of the rev range.

Did some reading yesterday and saw where someone with a 3rd gen drilled a hole in their washer reservoir to get a little more capacity. Well i thought that was a great idea since i use mine for water/methanol, so i did the same yesterday. Takes a little bit more now to fill it up. Great little free mod. Will have to do it to the v6 this weekend as well.

    and after

And the area where i drilled the hole. A little difficult to see, but its right near the top below the lip for the cap

You as well brother! Getting some rain here, and it's about to cool off, so we're off to a solid start.

Ok fess up I’m guessing it’s the little hole we see next to the hing for the cap? With size 1/16” or ?…
I mounted my drain as low as I could get it then used a 12x1.25 to 4AN fitting at the bottom of the washer fluid tank.
    663EA5C4-6E0A-40E2-897D-FBE61AEC51AF.jpg

I also called LCE and spoke with the outgoing GM and still no word on the Superchargers from Magnuson. They won’t even take a deposit from me and I’m their main Guinea pig for the 2TR system. Also for you guys wanting an LCE header I understand that they are changing the design to a hugger style header. I also had an issue with the header leaking. I never needed to replace the bung seal (the seal/gasket between the header and mid) with this design before but this time I was forced to install the new gasket supplied with the new header.

Nothing really, the header to mid-pipe is not clocked the same it’s off by about 1/4” from the factory header. With exhaust systems I am really anal. It has to be 100% correct

    Hmmm…
Maybe for you but have you seen the welding work that @Torspd does?

Now that’s my type of welding exhaust systems. A buddy of mine owns a company that builds headers for Lexus and if you seen their welding it’s the same. Tig welder laying a stack of dimes. Google PPE Engineering they are just a few minutes from our casa.
I’ve seen Mig welding and it looks the same! I know one guy who welds with a Mig / Wire welder and he doesn’t use a face shield. I asked how in the F do you do that? He points to his ear! I’m dead serious he listens to the weld and doesn’t watch it.
