I lucked up and found a CarPlay unit for $150 on marketplace. Nice telling the Siri lady to get directions or play a song. I don’t answer phone calls or text even with it hands free because she doesn’t understand redneck very well and it’s too distracting for my simple mind. Plus I don’t like it when wormerns talk back.

Well I plan to do a whole audio upgrade at some point with new door speakers and at least one under seat powered sub. I'll be ditching the rear cubbies and doing a molle panel since that opens up that space and while I'm back there I'll pull the interior to do dynamat or similar. $150 is nice for that.

it's nuts. housing is so fucking expensive on the west coast. if we didn't refi today, I'd seriously think about living in a van down by the river. property taxes alone are more than our previous rent 7yrs ago...no idea how a lot of people make it here making less. California isn't easy by any stretch.
