I don’t see how it’s worth it for most. Cost of living for y’all’s area has skyrocketed. I don’t even want to tell you how little I pay in property tax.

Maybe a bit of fantasizing but I see the Trekker as a trial build. Could we see a 2nd gen: new full frame, TTB front with a V8 roller?

Get out of my head and my plans for 2023-2024. Tube chassis, tundra 5.7L, and some Toyota traction beams like you said

Same here in most areas but where I was at and the house and property my taxes were less than 1 house payment. I didn't do escrow or whatever it is for taxes and insurance I just went to the tax office and paid them and paid the ins. outright each year.

I live in one of the greatest places in the country (in my opinion). Under 1k a month for tax, insurance, mortgage and all utilities. Idk how people do it in Cali.

Seeing a ton of people getting orders way early right now. Pretty promising. They must have really stepped up production.

I pay more for water than I do property tax. About twice as much and I ain’t no thirsty hoe. This county is mostly rural. Two stoplights that I know of and one’s in the town we live. We have timberland on the other side of the county and it’s around $4/acre.

We refinanced when it bottomed out. I was triple paying the mortgage, but at 2.25% I would have been shooting myself in the foot. I urge everyone to do the math. For the same thirty year scenario of paying extra on the mortgage vs more into retirement/investments (figuring 6% return to account for inflation, tax etc.) our final figures were about 60% different at the end of 30 years.

Everything sucks right now lol. I'm 14k deep in parts since July for my spring rebuild and I don't have one single thing to show for it yet. Tough pill to swallow.

We have a few Dealerships around that only have 1-2 techs working and they are scheduled out months. So us little shops are absolutely slammed, which is awesome. Except for the fact we've had a few occasions where we have had 2 week lead times for things as simple as pads and rotors. We are watching parts disappear by the day right now and its a pretty freaky feeling.

We also jumped and Refi'd. Went from 30 yr loan to a 20 year and dropped our rate from 5.54% to 3.275%.

About the only thing Toyota in my head would be the cab. If I could find a four door ranger than there might not be any Toyota.

Haha notes taken. Seen them around for a while and we finally had one in the shop today. Sounds amazing and looks great, but at 1200miles the plastic door was already cracking on this one. I think chevy made a huge leap of faith with the mid engine c8, and it is a beautiful car, but they need to figure out their plastics/ composites to refine it the next year or two.
