Well, not in the last 48 hours, but managed to score 2 beautiful Ruger Blackhawks in .45 Colt in the last 2 weeks.

Heading to Bass Pro this morning, fingers crossed they’ll have some of these. I’ve always shot CCI standard velocity since 4 guns like it, it’s accurate, and quiet when you put that thing on the end of the barrel!

I got an order placed for an Otter Creek Labs OCM5 so it looks like I have about a year to get my Mk12 built out now!

Won a receiver set in a raffle at the 3 gun last weekend. Guess I HAVE to build a .300 blackout SBR. Found a 8.3 inch BA Hanson barrel for 50 bucks off. Next step is a form 1, then accumulating more parts….

I seen more ammo this morning on the shelves at Bass Pro than I have in a long time, and the guy said the truck still had ammo waiting to be unloaded. .22, .223, .308, .30/06, 9mm, 45, but no .38 special or .410 shot shells. I did get 500 rounds of the .22 subsonic hp’s and discovered I like the feel of the Glock 43x.

Bought an H&R 223 handi rifle for load testing/development. I figure spending $100 on a cheap rifle with a thick chamber is cheap investment for checking loads.

I also bought a Gemtech Aurora 2 so now I’m gonna be keeping an eye open for a threaded barrel for my P938.

Yeah, I’ve been noticing. Our local shops here are limiting purchases of 6.5, 270, 5.56, .45, and nine to three boxes. Midway limited their 6.5 143 eld-x to 3 boxes. I’ve been looking for these for months, and thankfully they notified me. Sold out with no back order within an hour.

Not necessarily a purchase, but I was fortunate enough to inherit a 1915 Winchester 1894 saddle ring carbine 30-30, from my great uncle. Took it out this week and ran 10 rounds through it. Shoots amazing. He also passed down his 1911 Colt combat commander 70 series 1975 in .45 to me. Extremely thankful and excited.

Previously reported the purchase of a new Ruger LCP .22LR and some rounds.
Fired 90 rounds thru it this morning. It functioned perfectly. Nice little gun. 1F8CEB4B-F0CB-4FB9-9EC0-82C6916C1EC9.jpg
