Anyone have a recommendation of a shop for fluid film? I have checked out a few places and wanted to see who you all use (if you get your truck fluid filmed that is). I called a couple places and I guess I wasn’t expecting it to be that expensive. Around $350-$400. If I go to a place for that money I want to make sure I get my money’s worth!

Closest places to me commercially are an hour away. Usually I rattle can it, but just can't this year. So I am actually going to go to a local place that does NHOU - NH Oil Undercoating. I figure doing something is better than doing nothing. Don't know a lot about the product, but hot oil has been a go to upnawth for generations. You might also look for a local shop does WoolWax.

Contact @jpereira2 . I know that it isn't close to your town but he will be worth the drive. He uses woolwax and I believe that he has a small number of openings still left....I go to him every year. He lives in taunton MA. WORTH the drive. $70 for a taco, and $100 for full size trucks. He sprays EVERY nook and cranny.....

My wife just told me about that this morning, since she usually watches the news while she gets ready in the AM. I'm sure the moms in Brookfield will raise a stink now, since they are the type to do that. Some pretty interesting stuff has gone done at previous Board Of Ed meetings here in town recently, about unmasking kids, keeping them in school, etc.

Seconded, he sprayed E V E R Y T H I N G on mine faster than it took me to do just the frame and axles for basically what I paid for the rattle cans of woolwax. I have no qualms driving down to him from now on

 

Jason might be closer, but I also spray frames and use black Fluid Film. I'm about 40 mins from where Matt lives. I also charge the same as Jason for undercoatings

 

Our street had a visitor this morning.

He's been hanging out around here for some time now. He's been caught on Ring cameras.

Today we actually got to see him in person.

 

How well does FF or WW hold up if you wash your truck once a week in the winter to clean off the salt? I always spray the undercarriage good with the pressure washer when I go.

 

I wouldn't, I was easily able to remove it in the spring when I thought I was gonna redo it at one of the self service places back home

Now the bigger problem is I can’t decide which one I like better, I like the over played “raptor” lights but that OR grill is also simple and clean

 

I went to the newer OR grill from a fake pro, much prefer the newer ones look

 

So is the verdict that there’s not any fluid film/wool wax people in CT? I’m in southern CT and the closest guy I’ve found to me is Garden State Undercoating in NJ. Might just be easier to apply woolwax myself if I have to drive 4 hours and wait around anyway.
