FJR1300 fuel light comes on when you still have 1.5 gallons left. My personal best was 76.6 miles with my fuel light blinking at me. Put in 6.59 gallons then into a 6.6 gallon tank. I've learned I have an easy 40-50 miles left when the fuel light comes on. G/F is NOT impressed with this knowledge. She gets nervous at 1/4 tank.

BTW, if any of you racer types need a suit, let me know. I have a new, unused Heroic suit in my gear closet. I believe it was about $1500 when I got it. Comes with a set of clucky's and chicken hawks (those are sliders).

Awesome suit from Todd McNabney at Heroic. It's a Genesis Stage 1. I'd let it go for like $700. I would even ship it if you're not in the North East.

Only time it was worn was for this video shoot.

Mods, if this is not allowed, let me know.

I think it looks better stock. The lift makes it look like the tank was an afterthought and was just plopped on top of the frame.

Hmm this guy posted his 2012 ttr-125 for $900 last night and I sent him an email right away. This morning he emailed back saying nothing is wrong with it, I clicked on the link and he upped his price to $1500 asked him if he would honor the $900 and he said he would do $1200. Should I try for $1000?

Absolutely! Pulling a bait and switch like that, even if it isn't intentional, is not kosher! You shouldn't have to pay for his "mistake"!

I've listed many an item and realized I could've asked for quite a bit more but, if someone made an offer on the original price, I'd feel obligated to honor it. But that's just my sense of honesty and integrity...

Speaking of buying... I have become enamored with a certain blacked out 2021 MT-09 for sale at a great price near me (https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2021-Yamaha-MT-09-5018246944). Would have to sell my wonderful and beloved F4i first though, so I'm still debating... and looking for any thoughts/opinions that might help me make a final decision...

That is a great price! I'm still on the search for another bike, an FZ-09 is high on the list.

I say buy it and worry about selling the F4i later! The new ones do look nice... I'm trying to stay in the ~$6k range but might increase my budget if I don't find something by spring

If my truck was paid off, I'd be doing just that! Unfortunately, it isn't and I'm okay with waiting if need be...

When my '07 FJR got totaled in an accident even though I wasn't really hurt badly it just about killed me. I truly felt like I was losing one of my best friends.

I get it, these things are just machines and as such can be replaced but the memories we make with them can't.

My god, I had so much work in that bike and had it at the track a couple years learning it to the point where it was an extension of me. Husbands like ‘just do that again’ but at the time I was working at the Ducati dealer here and I had free reign of the shop and all specialty tools (wtf Ducati), a 45 year master tech’s assistance, and first dibs on the parts..:annoyed:

Yes! My FXT was the first car/toaster that I really, REALLY got into modding and just all around loved it. Didn't want to sell but, after 10 years, it was starting to reach the point where it seemed there was always something that was needing fixed. I'll still have the occasion dream that involves it somehow...

I hear ya roofs aren't cheap! and you're right neither are quads... I was looking too out of curiosity and saw a couple KFX450R's listed for more than I paid new. Wish I still had that one

How much is a new 110 these days otd? That guy with the ttr125 won’t go lower than $1200. Said if he doesn’t sell it in a week he would take $1000 for it.
