It's cold out. I dislike this.

 

Thanks Tom, I'm too savvy a shopper (aka cheap) but I bet they are pretty decent. 1 year warr almost makes it worth it. Since I'll be using them right away, if they last I won't need the full year. If anyone can break them first try though, it's me.

If I was going to do this often I would spare no expense, get really good tools, and even get the smaller, manual tire changer from Harbor Freight.

Yea, those two weeks in the field cost me over $120 for lunch. Every day was close to $12 bucks with change. Even at a place like Popeyes, for a meal, or Micky D's for a meal. The CFO was not happy. She is pissed if lunch costs her more than $2 for a frozen Lean Cuisine! And yea, when I am working from home I eat so much healthier and so much less. It's a vicious cycle

I prefer leftovers. Especially spaghetti!

Oil filter access is key, but if you can drop the entire thing easy enough for something at a lower cost, don't let that stop you. The OEM Pro skid plate is formed which adds strength. There are supports on the inside too I think. I bangs mine pretty good once. Scraped it but no dent. With the proper suspension setup and skill you'll need to use the skid less.

More great advice. At the malls I have seen black spray painted cardboard. Unless you put a magnet on it you would never know.

I assume you're trying to change your own tires? I usually buy mine through Costco, and I think it's pretty stupid cheap to have them balance, install, and torque check them after 25 miles. I want to say $80 total?
