And if your a Andy Griffin fan...

The Hobo on the show has a really great quote.

David Browne : It's the most perfect day to start any job - tomorrow. Most marvelous day that was ever invented. Why, there's absolutely nothing a man can't do... tomorrow.

That’s my Dad’s favourite show, I grew up watching that with him, and the Dukes of Hazzard.

    Morning fellas:hattip:

They're a pain, you don't want them, but can't get away from them on new vehicles now a days.

Yeah, they found a nail on one of my tires and fixed it free of charge, with the purchase of the sensors o_O ......well at least it all got fixed

    Morning Danny!

Actually, think of TPMS this way. Modern construction means it's VERY difficult to tell a tire is crucially low until you are like down in the teens for pressure. You can see this when you watch folks air down off road - it's hard to see any significant change on the sidewall - you need a gauge. So, if you drove around on the pavement like that for any time, you'd be destroying the tire very quickly!

No I get it, just a pain sometimes. Great when they work, just a pain when having to replace :D. Trust me, I'm glad they are on my wife's car.....you know what I mean

I certainly wouldn’t retrofit them or anything, but if it came on the vehicle I guess that would be that, I wouldn’t take them off either.

I learned an odd skill from my Dad, I’ve kicked enough tires to have a good idea where the PSI is at. Not precise by any means but I know what a low tire feels like. It’s worked pretty well so far! I’ve never lost a tire to bad wear.

My wife’s Jeep has TPMS though, it is pretty handy.

You can always throw 5 sensors in a small capped pvc pipe add a tire valve air up and tuck them under the seat and call it done.

Well, that's the longest mow only I've done. One of my customers clips for the handle flew off, and it took a half hour to find on the pool deck. Then some :censored::censored:er dropped off two pups on our street, and Carol had to corral them in the back for safe keeping. So, I mowed out front. One has a cripple/broke leg, but was getting around. Carol gave the other a bath, and pu them in Rex's crate while I did the back. Animal control came and got them, and just now brought the crate back. Turns out they belong down the corner street, along with a third that came up while I mowed out front. Miserable :censored::censored: for having animals in that shape!!!

    Back to work.
