Very true, better to just give them a $695 donation above msrp and tell them to just leave it off. I’d rather keep my factory wiring factory.

Lol, awful is a bit harsh. I’ve got a deposit on a lunar rock sport -long bed mind you. I think people just aren’t used to seeing that colour without the black fender flares and black lower front valence. It was one of my concerns when putting down my deposit, but I’m guessing it’ll look good in person. The 4Runner pro doesn’t have the black fender flares either and it looks great in lunar rock in person.

The black detail contrast definitely makes a difference on the Lunar Rock. I have a deposit for a Lunar Rock OR SB with the 'blackout package', in addition to the standard black OR fender flares and front valence.

Yeah, 'port' add-ons ('chrome delete' overlays, black decals & exhaust tip) are not the best value play. But the truck is going to look awesome off the lot before I further personalize.

    That was my first impression.
To me it’s too much LR.
I have the most hated color in 19 Cav blue.
    I still like it

They'll get them eventually. They're the oldest Toyota dealer in Georgia and get a few Pros of every model since 2015. I don't mind waiting, but I want it now....lol.
Also, it gives me time to buy a few more things for it like hidden winch mount, Warn winch, and RSi EVOa cap.

Not even joking about the cutting into the system. A manufacturer will not cover damages from damage done by an installer and good luck getting the dealership to cover it.

So I was ready to drive down an hour away from where I am to purchase a 4x4 OR in Lunar Rock this weekend and was emailing the Fleet and Internet Sales Manager regarding the price. I said that i'm only paying MSRP and fees. He wants to add $9000 over MSRP with packages that are less if I put them on. So pissed because I was willing to purchase whatever was coming from the factory.....
DAMN these sales people....Now have to start again to look for a vehicle with no adjustment mark up

Start a new discussion... Dealers that are using the terms "covid", "market adjustment" or similar to justify these prices over MSRP. Maybe if we flame enough of them on boards, they will rethink their new price structure.

Any zip codes out there showing the Pro still? Seems like they have fallen off everywhere. I'm hoping they pop back up on the 1st.

I don't think they ever showed up in the Boston area zips. It's why I just ate it and got a 21 a little over MSRP....

Am i the only one that thinks that the 21s should reflect a price discount since the 22s are starting to hit the lots? I mean if you go to trade in a 21 for a 22, they will give you 21 trade in prices since its technically a year old?

If there was a surplus of Tacomas on the market, sure, they'd mark them down to motivate people to buy a '21 instead of the '22 sitting next to it. But with a shortage of trucks available and customers waiting for months to get any truck, why would they discount something that's in high demand?

Exactly. My local dealer wanted $5k markup 2 months ago on 2021s. I checked in this week, still $5k, even with a couple of those 2021 trucks still unsold.

Car dealers are used to having several months of inventory on their lots. Having a few stragglers doesn't bother them at all, and they will clear them later if they hang around too long.

I see they offer Dual USB Power Port Rear Seat Charge Station for $129. At least it's an option.

Yeah, I put that in my build along with the exterior and interior illumination package. I have that on the Tundra and its cool at night when it comes on, as you unlock it.
