I'm not the one you asked, but I also have the N2 remote start, so I figured I'll chime in. N2 offers both the remote start unit, and an optional cellular module that you can add-on. The remote start unit is hardwired into the truck (plug and play), and uses your key fob to start the truck. Therefore, you have to be in range of your fob in order to start. That's great for starting your truck in your driveway on a cold morning or a hot afternoon, but not much else. The optional cellular add-on simply plugs into the remote start module, and works with a free app that you download to your smartphone. As long as the truck is within cell phone range of an AT&T tower (you don't need to have AT&T service, it just uses AT&T's 3G/4G network), you can use the app to start it or set a timer for it to start, stop it after you've started it, lock/unlock the doors, track the vehicle's location (via GPS), and see some status info (door lock status, etc.). If you purchase the cellular module, it comes with one year of service for free, and it's $39 per year after that (or they have a 3 year plan for $99).

I currently have have just the remote start module on my 2020, but I've added the cellular module to my Christmas list

Oh I know, I'm totally messing around. Just seemed like something goofy to say. I'm basically one of those people who has been with the same person forever without getting married....yet.

 

I bought her a house, lol. She's not down with the marriage thing due to some past trauma/drama. And she doesn't want kids so it's not a big deal. We'd be common law partners in some states at this point. And our relationship is healthier than some of our married friends so...

 

Thats awesome man. And i get it. I was just being a goof. Ironically I'm in a similar situation with my girl, been together for years, still aren't married.

 

The important part of a relationship is your values and promises to eachother...personally marriage is just a piece of paper and a way for the state to tax the hell put of you lol

 

I am discovering when bed racks and shells cost so much. I have welded around 20 feet of weld lines and just over half way done with the welding portion

Just finished coating the undercarriage with cosmoline. I went with the black version which I think gives it a nice look.

 

Does anyone know how difficult it is to remove the shell? Mine was installed from the previous owner really well and I don't want to mess it up, in socal (for now) so not worried about winter coming!

 

My 3rd brake light didnt leak before then they did the recall and it leaked, so i bought my own seal off Amazon and re did it when i had my roof wrapped no more leak

 

I mean yeah it's definitely cool but I don't think I'm ready to give the NSA access to shut down my truck lol

 

How would I check for a leak on my own? I have a 2018 and haven't noticed any issues but don't want there to be something in the liner I'm not seeing or something? I have a cap on my truck and really don't want to take it off if I don't have to!

 

Tax accountant here, all for living your life the way you want to live it! (Beauty of a free country) but for tax purposes it makes more sense to be married and file jointly (especially if you are both working and making above the median household income). Just something to consider next April! (This is Taco related because money saved from greedy govt is money spent on better mods!!!)
