I take my old fluids to autozone, but I know most auto parts stores will take it.

Just go in and ask to dispose of oil/fluid.

Call before hand make sure there tank is not full.

They dont charge me anything, I usually take my old oil in when I'm buying something so it doesn't look like I'm just dropping it off.

We don't mind and if they do tell them to screw off because your helping the environment rather then pouring it into a creek or river.

I work at a garage. So I get mine done for Frizzle. :p

Yea, last time I was at dealer picking up a part for another customer, was just looking at the prices for stuff. Im like, really. 65 bucks for that, we charge 25 for this.

I think the 15k service was like 300 bucks. Im like, really, what needs to be done at 15k besides oil change and inspection of things.

You guys would be surprised what an average joe shop, that is good, will be if you DONT take it to dealer for everything.

OK guys, I'm going to sell my Undercover bed cover and figured I would offer it to anyone on this thread first. It fits the 6ft bed, comes with 2 keys, and in perfect condition. I'm asking $425 OBO. Think thats a good price?

Only 2k miles on the tracs.

Might as well, I'd rather pass on a good deal to one of you guys first. I just need a cap for my dogs to rid in or I'd be keeping it.

Sounds good, my dog loves to ride in the back seat might have to pick up a seat cover soon.

Im ditching these because I drive A LOT and the mpg at 10-11 is killing me. At least with A/T's I'll hopefully be up around 13-14 which I can handle

My dogs are in the truck with me all the time. My back seats are folded down 99% of the time. But when then dogs come I can only bring one person. That and the inside of my truck is getting covered in dog hair. Having the undercover has been great, but I need the extra room for storage on road trips.

I would be giving up the Duras if I was getting 10-11MPG as well :puke:

    Yeah totally understand.

Yeah, everyone is getting good mpg except me I dont know whats going on but I cant do it, someone might NEED or want them so hopefully I'll find someone.

I drive a lot for my FF training though and it's killing me in gas right now.

i think it's a good price. i don't have the 6ft bed, and ben bought me a bed cover for christmas. otherwise i would be all over that offer!

On a side note, Ben has big plans in the works for when i need (he wants) new tires.

LOL I like these tires a lot but the mpg is to rough for me.

I see people getting 16mpg but it's mainly because I do short short trips...

This last snow I never left 2wd except to pull someone out.

So no complaints with that, or the whine on the interstate thats not bad at all the BFG M/Ts are 5x louder.

i would be all over this too but i am saving for a cap for the exact same reasons. to much dog hair in the cab, plus there is no room for anyone else if my doberman is in there with me. actually i would buy it if i had an access cab. can't really fit people in the back of one anyhow, but it would be perfect for dogs.

Dog hair in my truck is horrible. I cannot keep up with it. Everytime I roll down the window its a tornado of dog hair flying around. I've already found a few caps on CL, not my color, so I would have to get it painted. But still much cheaper than a new cap. Hopefully I can get one and sell my undercover so I wont have much out of pocket.

same here but i found that snugtop offers a way to lock the cap from the inside. so i am going to most likely be going that way. would love to car camp and lock everything down. but then again with the dogs i doubt that i would be messed with at all.
