I've always been a fan of the look of the amber (parking lights) as DRLs. it's what i see it as the design que for the tacoma :pccoffee:

Figured to have a wiring project over the winter by g out how to rewire a set of SRs to work for an OR. I know the plugs are different between em so it'd be making a harness. Unless there is a wiring option to just have the ambers replace the DRLs because i'm not a huge fan of the white Ls.

Well if you figure out let me know, I change headlights annually now, would be cheaper to purchase SR style in the future.

There is a way to replace the board but you have to open the headlights, obviously. The BHLM thread has a bunch of examples

    https://www.diodedynamics.com/2016-2019-toyota-tacoma-drl-led-boards.html

There's no way it'd be as simple as splicing the drl harness to the turn signal and vice versa?

Always looking to modify! Check out my Instagram @TacoPandaTRD

Like @Saturnine said. There are kits available to turn the factory DRL Amber but you need to open the housing up. If your going to do that you could also customize the inside. Black out the inner plastic, add halo, do a Meso turn signal swap. Lots of options

What about buying SR headlights and just changing harness? Easier than opening headlights.
