If it ain’t broke don’t fix it seems to be the Toyota way. They don’t like change.

My hope is to snag some of the bronze trail wheels when they become available. I want a nicer version of the new trail edition haha

I personally think the premium is a steal for the $4500 ish mark up. Leather seating was a must, having come from cloth preferred an upgrade in my opinion, premium JBL sound and sub are great, the moonroof for me was a must/used daily and the parking sonar/camera system is pretty cool(sadly used mostly parking or near walls). Its in reality a 3k upgrade for better leather, sound, sensors, misc since you want the led/tech package already which is about $1300.

I ordered my June. 22/21 if that helps you determine when they will trickle in to eastern Canada. My dealer was certain I was one of the first people to take possession of a 2022 in Canada, but who knows.

Welcome to the Canadian LR club.

I tried hard to get an LR Pro for many reasons... But one was to get the LEDs.

Crazy that any vehicle at all is still made without them.

No money, all went to truck...
I do not care for the Sport version. OR looks way better.

May I ask which dealer you bought it? And when did you order it? I am pretty sure you are the first one getting lunar rock ORP at lower main land, or say in entire BC. Mine is scheduled to be ready in Jan or Feb.

Toyota Northshore, ordered in June. 22, received it Nov. 04. According to my salesman it’s the first one LR OR in Canada but he’s probably just patting himself on the back there.

I have asked total 4 dealers around, the first two could not even take deposit for 22 model in September, the third one took my order but no words when the truck will be here, so then I went to Squamish toyota again and finally they confirmed the wait will only be 3-4 months. Damn...how come I missed the one at North Van. I actually started try to order one in June...

Sucks to hear you’ve had a go around at securing one. I originally was trying to order a 2021 cement but my salesman informed me it would be a 2022 in lunar rock instead. I think that put me to the front of the line. Maybe just great timing. Who knows. The window seems to be 3-4 months as I hear most June/July orders are rolling in mid-end Nov. Best of luck getting yours!

FYI, it's leather only along the shoulders. The rest of the seat is synthetic leather (vinyl) - just be warned if you use leather treatment on the vinyl it might stain or discolor.

Stopped in at the local dealer to inquire about TRD lift and as I was driving out spotted this new and not yet delivered ‘22 DCSB OR 4X that had been lifted/wheeled/tire’d by the dealership for a retail customer. It was a cloudy day and was somewhat surprised how the color seemed to change with different lighting. This truck looked and was stanced great.

I did a DIY install of a Retrax Pro XR, Yakima crossbars and black OEM exhaust tip this weekend.

Looking ready to roll for my needs . . . .

The crossbars are the Yakima "Tonneau Cover Skyline Rack Kit", SKU 8001630. I wrote Thule in my original post, incorrectly, probably thinking about my shell carrier. You can buy everything in the kit separately, but it prices out identically if purchasing new.

I believe the crossbars rate to 165 lbs dynamic load, 800 static. So they should work with an off-ground tent, if that's what you're thinking.

The Retrax XR also is compatible with Thule and Rhino Rack bars. But those would stick out further, which I didn't like. The Yakima bars end right at the edge of the bed, setting a very clean line without adding unusable length to the crossbars.
