I just got sent a video of the car lineup at the dyno. Looks like my buddy will be posting lowest numbers of the day. Everything there is twin turbo or blown big block. He rolled up with a 1.4 "big" turbo Fiat.

Yeah I finished up for the day as well. Going to clean up for the massage, then see if we can't ruin the mood for the rest of the day by painting the bedroom.

Interestingly, apparently Fiat programmed their cars to go into reduced power mode if the front wheels aren't spinning and the rear ones are. Needless to say that happened on the dyno, and the car effectively made 120 hp. Unfortunately nobody has found a way around it yet supposedly so it was a wasted trip to the dyno.

    skipper tracks..

    6 people followed me in..
    Extremely wet and mud.
One guy asked another how in the hell did that guy get through here..
    Lol

They must have all chickened out cause when I came out everyone was gone.
Even the two that walked by me and didn’t see me..
It’s definitely a very hard walking/hunting area at the moment.
Place's that are always dry are mud..
The big tracks I saw a few weeks ago are gone and not refreshed..
Going to be a rough year….

Couple things done today. Picked up a couple odd and end parts for the car from the previous owner today. Obviously moved some cars around. Finally bought some lift struts for the hatch. They were, uhh shot!

    20211106_141213.jpg

So, no more vice grips to hold it up!

    20211106_142602.jpg

Wired up the trickle charger so that's all set. The new coolant bottle came in this week so I'll probably get that done this weekend. I probably won't update on this too much, I know you guys are tired of seeing it, especially since it ain't a stock Tacoma :D

Major updates are fun, especially the carnage pictures of the rust. Makes me feel like I'm there, risking a tetanus shot. You could also start a "rebuild" thread for it!

Yea I'm tackling the passenger side first; it isn't as bad so it'll be good practice for the drivers side. Already bought a 3" air cutoff tool, was on sale at the ol' Tractor Supply :D
