Random story: I have a friend who was ran over by a school bus as a child and the scar on his arm is like a spiral because they had to cut him up to reduce the swelling at the time. Super crazy scars.

Very cool! Did you make a time you were happy with? Looks like the weather was decent. My father is an ultra marathoner and pretty much the only runner in our family. No thank you to that nonsense lol

 

Ran solo this year because my sister is out with hip injury. Very happy with my time, placed 44th overall out of 1296. Weather was good, a little chilly (29°) but I warmed up once I started running. Usually do half a dozen 5k each year with an occasional Spartan race thrown in.

 

My ankles and knee(s) would literally try and kill me if I even tried one 5k.

 

This is my new long distance setup. Its a Fierce CT Rival chambered in 280 Ackley Improved. The scope is a Vortex LHT 3-15x44 illuminated. The scope i might swap out for something different eventually but i do like it so far.

The one is already on antibiotics for strep and ear infection. The other is perking up a bit. We have been coloring and doing puzzles. They want to go outside…. So do I!!! Lol After lunch we will play in the yard.
