Volk racing TE 37 on my tacoma

Try calling @ShowstoppersUSA , they might be busy with SEMA but I understand that’s not a good excuse.

 

I once waited 7 months for TE’s, but we’re talking 2003. Everything importing or shipping wise is so fucked up it’s ridiculous. Never been through this before, hopefully it’ll smooth out.

I have one friend with an 04 taco and a 95 civic he’s gonna swap and another friend with an 03 4Runner and 99 integra. All minty fresh.

You sure on the specs? I thought the -20 was only offered in 16". The 17" should be -10.
Either way, the bronze version of both should be a pretty easy spec to find. They pump those out on the regular. I got my blue ones in like 4 months earlier this year.

 

I got a set of 16x8 -20 for sale that are bnib. I waited for 5 months for these guys.

 

My experience with Showstoppers was the same — completely unresponsive for months through every avenue until I made an Instagram account and started blowing them up through DMs. At that point I got zero actual response or excuses, they just refunded me… lol

 

they don't follow up here consistently at all. call them.

 

. Yessir! I realize this aren't the most common offset for this size but they were advertised plainly on the site.
I actually have a set of white but -10 on order from System Motorsports ordered in July. I'll keep the one I like most and most likely sell the other.

 

I ordered from System late August and I was told end of the year for 17x8.5 -10 Bronze TE37s. Patiently waiting.

 

Do you know if you have to remove the wheel to put them on or if they mount from the front?

 

They mount from the back...I have them.

For those of you with 17's, what are you using as your spare? A donut or a 5th TE37? I regret not ordering one now, but if anyone has alternative solutions lmk. Thanks.

 

Is your spare on display (tire carrier) or is it stuffed up under your bed?

If it's on display, I'd get a matching wheel. If it's not, then any old 17" wheel with conical lug wells will suffice. I'd recommend the FN Countersteer Type X, as it's a close match.
