    You're welcome.

No. They don't have much of a clue about ECU IDs. Just ask for the TSB from the post a few above.

So, I gather my truck from the dealer and the dealer ‘says’ they did the TSB update. How do I know they actually did it? Does the truck perform better or would I need to connect truck to computer to confirm?

Posted many times in this thread. TS, Carista or OBD Fusion apps, or a deep dive with some handheld OBD scanners.

The dealer (Team Toyota) said they did the TSB update with the state inspection and oil/filter change. Now it’s time for VF Tune…

Dumb question.... How do I find the ECU ID without using the CUW matrix? My friends 2017 AT isn't working with 04B04 so I think it's something else, maybe the 04B05 - but I already got the ECU file for 04B04...

If he is 04B05, then he's on the very latest. If you plug in an try to flash a CUW the wizard will reject incompatible or older ECU IDs and tell you what the current ECU ID is.

It allows Connections to 2022s. That is the only reason that I upgraded.

Still as clunky as v12, but as @tonered said, can connect to 2022's so it was worth upgrading to, for me

You'll have to download the mobilism market from here: https://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=398&t=214777

Then you just search for carista and install it from there. They have both the beta version and the current app store versions listed there.

Hey guys, I just successfully flashed to 04B14.

I want to thank tonered for putting this thread together. You saved my ass! I also want to thank shellshock for the instructions on that whacky guy fawkes key generator too.

Just some interesting backstory, I sent my info out to Magnuson last Friday afternoon and did the supercharger install over the weekend while I waited for them to send the tune… as most have done. I got a response from them on Monday morning, saying they couldn’t provide me with a tune because my calibration wasn’t right and that I needed to take it to the dealer for an update. Needless to say, I was very surprised as nothing in the instructions warned of this, and I didn’t see this happen to anyone else in any of the supercharger threads I read through.

With the supercharger already installed on the truck, driving it to the dealer wasn’t really an option… not to mention getting a dealer to do an ecu update is somewhat of a joke. I eventually found this thread and followed the instructions in the first post, and everything worked flawlessly.

Anyways, thanks again guys… I’d be screwed without this thread!

    Great news!

Also in case you become interested in an alternative tune option at some point, YotaWerx Tuning is working on a tune for 3GT's with the Magnuson supercharger.

Tune testing has been going really well, making lots of exciting progress! @a2lowvw @Formidable

In case you haven't found it yet, there's also this mega thread where other Maggy kit owners share a lot of knowledge and helpful info:

Awesome… I’ll definitely keep my eye on YotaWerx. I’ll also check out Fomidable’s thread too. Thanks.

I’ve been following the androofoo thread for awhile. There was tons of great tips and pointers in that one… helped with the install.
