Ha, no. Just a cute little garter with some pretty green color, no more than a foot long if that. Just picked it up bare hands.
Now the large 3-4 foot black corn snake that made it in my garage a few years back....startled me, and it had a very aggressive attitude. I showed that one who was boss..

Me and a friend put a few fish in the box today, it was too windy to fish very effectively though so I'm sure we left many willing fish behind.

I'm addicted to how redfish fight.

Working on a little art project. Its slow going as my dremel bits keep getting clogged. Best solution I've found so far is a bit of vaseline on the bit. Some kind of aluminum alloy. It's a piston from a Cummins. Any tips on how to effectively mill and shape it are welcome. 20211031_170319.jpg

I like it! I've got a piston out of something similar, so now I'm going to have to copy that. WD-40 or kerosene are good cutting fluids for aluminum. Also there are aluminum specific diegrinder bits. I'll post a picture after I've had :pccoffee:
    Good morning Shane and friends.

:thumbsup::thumbsup: Good Job one more of those evil creatures is gone!!

I still think we should bring back Wolves to keep the evil things in check

It would not be so bad but they keep running into my vehicles going out my driveway.

Then laugh stick out their tongue and run off till the next time.

I almost forgot. Here are some examples of aluminum cutting bits.
Another interesting thing is years ago when I worked at a production machine shop, they ran into a bit of challenge tapping a somewhat fine thread in aluminum. Regardless of cutting fluid it would scrap 1in 10. They purchased a tap with a special coating applied to it and the result was like magic. Hundreds of tapped holes without issue.20211107_113956.jpg

Nice buck! All I saw in the stand yesterday were a bunch of squirrels and a fisher. Hoping for one like that!

I could do without Christmas music until lets say December 17th or so. Give it a full week, that's plenty.

All I'm asking for for Christmas is for her to make the stairstepper that clothes get hung on to dry in the garage disappear. I'll report back how that goes.
