I got my N2 plug and play remote start yesterday, and when I was installing i did not realize it came in the box with a wire that was cut (red) on the blue connector. Anyway it sparked, and I could not get any power to the module after repairing the wire connection and trying to connect the black data link power wire. I uninstalled everything, and tried to hook my truck back up to the original wiring, but now it wont start. everything comes on like it should, but when i push the push to start button it does not start. I feel like I have blown a fuse, but I am not sure which ones to check, and so far have not been able to find the blown one. Can anyone help me out?

Are you checking both fuse panels? Under the hood / under the dash?

It was the steering column lock fuse. Now trying to get the app to work!

The app is the best. I've had it for years now on our vehicles.

I have some months left on my remote start through the toyota oem app. I dislike that it logs me out after a certain amount of time(few days). I have read it's for security reasons so I kind of understand. Does this app do the same?

No, but I do find that I need to log in every once in a while, maybe every couple weeks. Use thumb print to log back in.
I'm not sure what causes the log out. Maybe it's an update or something like that.
