Yeah I’m not sure if Nittos run on the small side or what. If you are still running the Solo arms you could probably get away without tubbing to fit these. The narrower size will help a lot too.

I’m not too worried about it, it would be nice though. We’ll see how long these Nittos last for me, my next set of tires will be…larger.

Need someone with the Toyos to measure, and the Kendas for that matter. But probably doesn't really matter.

Still have the Solos. I measured my current 285/75r17 against a buddies 35x11.50 maxxis and they were only 1/2" different, so I'm pretty confident I'll be able to fit skinny 35s without tubbing.

    Should just find small 37s...

Hell yes. I was on the fence about just bumping up to 37’s, there’s a couple other projects that need to be done first though. It also wouldn’t fit in my garage anymore.

Time consuming and a lot of little shit to get to the point you do the actual work.

I did skip plating the back of the coil buckets. Didn't seem needed and wouldn't do a lot I think considering there is an internal brace on the back anyways.

Now the long road of putting it back together.

Did you break anything in the process of getting it all apart? Like one of the 8 billion trans wiring harness clips or diff breather studs? :anonymous:

Getting it all back together will be so satisfying. Is that a project for next weekend?

Only electrical issue is the ac plug wire needs replaced.

Diff breather clips are not good ha

Worst was I nicked the driver side brake line with the sawzall.

Not likely next weekend. Following weekend.

Not too bad overall considering the complexity of the project. I hope it all goes back together just as smoothly.

Awesome. Looks like the center console fits with the recaros. Also, that console came off a 01-04 taco.

My old bed extender brackets wouldn’t work once I installed the cap as the extender hits the cap door shock brackets. Ordered new brackets from AMP research that release the extender without having to rotate it 90 degrees first. Made a new mount bracket out of 1” thick UHMW block and bolted to the bed with SS hardware. I used what I had but black UHMW would blend in better:

Why is my truck idling at 1900 rpm cold start??!! Hoses are all new. Sometimes I also get super low idle cold starts to the point where it sounds like it could stall. IAC? How easy is it to clean it? Do I have to remove the TB to do so?

It's not to hard to do. You do have to remove the TB. The IAC is on the bottom of the TB. 4 screws hold it on. Once you get it off it's pretty easy to clean. Mine had a pine nut roasting in it.

I also cleaned mine but it didn't perform as well as I hoped and ended up buying a generic one off Amazon for $50 which fixed the issue.
