No worries, I'd take the closer one too.

Unfortunately for me the noise ended up being the wheel bearing and not the needle bearing, and then I ended up swapping the diff anyway lol. Good upgrade regardless though because of the tighter tolerance.

I’m just doing it preemptively, since I’ll be doing my lift at the same time… might as well do it all at the same time.

Let’s talk tires and wet weather traction. Since it’s now wet and will be for the indeterminate future what is your go to tire? I’m running Toyo At3’s and it seems like it is really easy to break traction. I don’t have much for weight in the back of the truck ( OEM tonneau cover, bed mat, traction boards, compressor and a bag of snow chains). Should probably go buy a sand bag or 2 for when it’s actually slick. The Toyo’s still seem to do better than my old K02’s but I wish there was better traction.

The Kenda Klever R/T has been good to me. I have them in a 10.5 width and they’re great.

I should have specified I’m on running 285/75r16. I’m tempted to jump to 17’s just for the tire availability

The coopers have definitely treated me well. But that's not to say the extra 100hp you have might change that

The blower definitely doesn’t help. I was data logging going up the “hill” on 124th from willows towards totem lake and anything above 14% throttle would cause tire spin/trac control to engage.

The Falkens are also supposed to be excellent in the wet. They make it in a 315/75/16 and 305/70/16. The extra width might help?

I will second that the KO2s aren't great on wet asphalt. I don't have any weight in the rear either but they seem to break loose a little too easily. Amazing for everything else.

Don't do it. The 17" volks don't look nearly as good.

Ohhh those are cool and classic. I just found it incredibly amusing you could order beadlocks from Sears

I think the only way I would do 17’s would be if I was adding beadlocks to get rid of the weird lip but that’s dumb money at that point.

just added 3 50lb bags of sand to the bed. See if this helps out with my traction woes
