Highly recommend Mojave Road. Was such a blast. Just got home, had to cut it short due to my buddies Taco getting a flat tire. We made it more than halfway. We skipped the water crossing, my buddy didn't want to take his 21 tacoma through it.

Hmm I might hit up Mojave this weekend. I want to test out my truck a little. My step son wants to get out camping too.

We ended up close to the 40 so took a paved road to that. Next to some train tracks and a town called Kelso.

For some reason I never got a notification for this tag. Kinda crappy, I could’ve hit some trails since I got home Monday night
Isn’t TW supposed to send you an email when someone tags you?
This is true in many ways these days

    I did!
Just for the day on Saturday.

I got about 4 trash bags full of soft waste, and then had some great tacos from y’all !

Most of the time after that was spent ripping my own truck around with a few other tundras in the wash or down to the gas station. then a blast jumping in my buddys ranger around 4pm or so.

Stick to the area around jaw bone. I was out there about a year ago with red rock canyon. Most of the trails around there are 2wd friendly. I was able to do every trail within in red rock and a bunch of the dead end washes/canyons. There are some great picnic spots in those dead ends.
Once you start looking north east, there is a mine off of the 14, but it's a sand wash from hell. I got stuck 300 yards into it and that was the easy portion of the trail.
