You're in the marine industry? I totally understand the money thing. I can't imagine how expensive it would've all been if I paid someone to do all the work I did. The engine is out of a 1970's era Volvo station wagon.

I did dizzy points, dizzy cap + rotor, plugs, wires, all cooling hoses to the drive. On the Volvo Penta AQ280 I pulled the whole outdrive off the transom to do the cooling inlets, gimbal and exhaust bellows, shift cable, and lower drive oil. I also completely redid the interior. Brand new plywood flooring all around, and cut out all the rotten false walls and carpeted over them. I did two layers of laminating fiberglass resin on both sides along with the chopstrand fiberglass. I'm not super happy with how my deck paint job ended up, so I'll probably repaint it in the Spring.

Also Marine seats are ridiculously expensive, so I went to the junkyard and bought the leather seats from a 1989 Cadillac El Dorado in Sandlewood and mounted em. Comfortable as all hell, and the adjustments work too - I hooked up the controls.

The thing actually sank on dry land, it rained so much in the last storm it broke through the cover. I think it needs to be renamed the Unsinkable III now. Lol.

I'm gonna redo the floor paint, it pisses me off a smidge. I made a mistake of using the garage floor epoxy color flakes and now it's just gross looking.

Yes sir, it’s all natural. With the undeniable sea level rise, shit will only get worse. I’ll live here till I can’t, technically 13’ above sea level, sitting on a dune between a1a and peninsula. Good for another 40 hopefully :)

It loves to leak. I know the transom is soft in spots, and I didn't feel like taking the cantilever engine off the drive to properly reseal the transom plate, so I did a dirty and used 3M marine caulk around the transom plate. Still leaks, but not as much.

More like just weeks of it, thousands of miles, lots of twisty terrain that makes the bed and frame flex with weight on it.
