Good morning everyone! These miles won't run themselves...

Gonna be a nice drive to work today.

 

Not a darn thing. I only saw a bunny. The whole weekend, I only heard maybe 6 or 7 gunshots from neighboring ranches. Last year opening weekend I heard about 17 on Saturday alone. Whitetail aren't even showing up that much on the game cameras (4). Only got about 3 pictures of Whitetail. Plenty of hog. Got pictures of Axis, BlackBuck and an Audad but not much anything else.

Well chit, I have not game camera's set up yet gonna need to wait and see what's going on out there.

 

Ironically, as I was getting to the gate, a Game Warden stopped to ask me about my softtopper. We chatted for a while, he was telling me a ranch just down the road was recently sold to some Chinese investors and that they haven't been taking care of their fences. That's why we're getting so many exotics.

 

You can do it Battle Buddy. The first step is the hardest. It gets easier after that.

Good Morning SA! Well, today I.......who knows. Yesterday ended up with all Putz being productive. Gave everyone their new wipers, and settled in to watch the Cowboys - who didn't bother to show up. I like the Browns, but they had the game well in hand, so back to putz. Cut up the extra sheet of foam and put it in the garage door - now featuring R7!

So I got the thermostat set in the greenhouse, and put the heater inside with the little fan. Everything all ready inside now.



The last thing to finish was getting the door reset, and fixing the foam. I had it velcro'd on, but made it too wide to close without an issue. So, I got some S clips via Amazon, trimmed it out, and there we go. Oh, I threw some grey primer on, because the door is open most of the time, and who wants to stare at all that lettering!





I'll figure out what I'm doing today sooner or later, but I need more !

I hear ya, trying to get a little more into running myself, now that the kids are in school. Hard to get 3 miles out if me at this time though, which I guess is better than nothing.

Good morning fellas! Have anyone of y’all driven through Henderson pass and Thousand oak area here in San Antonio? There’s a bunch of deer running around that residential area..as soon as you turn on Henderson pass from brook hollow blvd. I saw atleast an eight point buck, and man did he look healthy.. he was just laying down and casually got up when I drove past him.. if y’all ever have the chance to drive through there at night do it.
