Put 265/70/17 on mine and have a slight rub also in reverse only. Shouldn't it rub going forward too? It makes no sense to me and I'm basically afraid to ask why because it's probably a simple answer.

When I put 265/70/17 before I got my lift/alignment I also slightly rubbed. Some minor trimming and heat gunner the liners helped. What ultimately fixed it though was an alignment.

Mine was lifted at the same time and aligned but still rubs. Maybe I should ask about a realignment when I go in the next time. I've also made zero effort to find out what it's rubbing on so maybe I should look and try a little adjustment.

Think about how your body moves when you quickly accelerate forward. You stick to your seat. If you reverse quickly, your body pulls away from the seat.

think about this idea in terms of your trucks body and components. Something on your truck is pulling toward your tires when you reverse that is normally pulling away in drive.

Nice! How was the kit to put together? Decent instructions? Fitment?
I'm looking at one of their front bumpers and the skid plate packages. Have a mig welder and angle grinder.
Just gotta sell my PS90 first to speed up the purchase of them.

I've been curious about this and most leather cleaners, does is leave an oil-like resideo or will it dry?

I mean, I guess. But I don't envision suspension parts being all loosey-goosey and shifting every which way just because I back out of the driveway.

When you pull into your driveway, your wheels move up and toward the back of your truck. When you back out of your driveway, your wheels move up and toward the front of your truck. It’s common to rub in reverse but not in drive for this reason. It’s not that it’s loosey goosey, its just that your suspension is compressing in a different motion in reverse than in drive when you hit that low point out of your driveway.

There just happens to be more room for your wheels to move in one direction compared to the other.

No, not "glossy" or "oil-like". I use it in on the leather in our bimmer.

Won't break the bank, but may want to try on the toyota leather, I know exactly what you don't want, so may try a small sample area. I just know it works well on the BMW leather. Our Taco is cloth, so no real info there.

It's not oily at all. It only takes a little and rubs quite easily. I would highly recommend it.

Maybe check that area again and make sure those latches are in the correct position under the bulkhead rail. That should sit flush.
