I wish RH would have dumped Bowman and put Cory in the 48. I think he could do well with decent equipment. Not that I dislike Bowman as a person he is just to vanilla.

It's not screwing yourself, when it's what you believe in. I have alot of respect for him, for being vocal on how this country is, not like all the rest of, always being politically, Matty D don't give a shit.

 

Sure, but don't expect teams to want that to represent them. You get a ride and make yourself invaluable first, then you start speaking your mind. He hasn't proven to be worth the possible trouble yet, as much as I like him.

Yep and not the only driver to take advantage of the medical waiver. Just the only one to do it successfully.

 

I assume you are referring to Tony getting waivered even though he did not ask for it after killing the kid. To each his own, worth noting if you are gonna throw it out you know. I just wish the final phase was at least combined points over three races or something. This whoever wins the race is the champ just kills it for me. I get the hype but man, at some point someone who is not strong is going to pull one of these off.

 

Doesn't matter, still had it and still used it. Still had certain perameters to meet in order to do so but he exceeded that, by a lot.

I don't necessarily disagree. Honestly I'd settle for something that gives incentive to non-playoff drivers to actually compete for the win.

I believe slightly faster although the lug itself will take slightly longer than a standard lug. I predict a lot more loose lugs though.

 

Ford canceled his pre-race Meet & Greet and almost pulled him from the racecar over his IG post. I certainly agree with the sentiment of the original, unedited chant but I don't know what solution the cute little third-grade codeword version brings for those of us busting our butts to keep food in the fridge, gas in the tank, and a roof over our head. Matt isn't speaking any truth or bringing any solutions to the table. It's just tit for tat team politics. He's trying to jump on a bandwagon and increase his fanbase in hopes it will parlay him into another unearned ride. He needs to do a Hemrick, drop down a tier, and prove himself if he wants a future in the sport but as of today, he's an unemployed former race car driver.

It's going to be neat to see. I wonder if they'll slow the wrenches to accommodate for the time needed to fill the gas tank. it will be neat to see the fuel booms used in Cup, too.

 

Are they using those? I guess it makes sense but I assumed it would still be the cans and that's what the stops would be waiting on.
