    Nope, I have not.
There was a thread a while back where someone had unplugged it and claimed his truck ran great and was going to dyno it to compare with and without. But he never followed up.

    Edit- found it.

Interested to see your logs and subsequent pulls. Great job getting some base line data. Enjoy your boost!

Thank you for the response. Interesting a very low or very high ACIS open doesn’t seem to change the dip. So the ACIS map will allow you to change the opening rpm but there’s some logic in the ECU that doesn’t change. Like maybe cylinder fill % or calculated torque are computed differently open vs close. But not necessarily when the actual ACIS is open or closed but when the ECU thinks the ACIS should be open or closed. Maybe this is a better topic for the VF forum although it might be like yelling into the void there.

Ok guys I have had the magnuson S/C on my truck for around 1000 miles now and figured it was time to give a quick review. Install was very straight forward and took my wife and I 10 hours, if you have any mechanical knowledge you shouldn’t have any problem installing yourself just utilize the information others have provided in this thread.
Now for the meat and potatoes or what we all are concerned with when spending $6500, the performance delivered from this supercharger. My truck probably won’t see a dyno so I focus more on the 0-60#’s and 1/8th mile #’s. My truck is a 2019 TRD Pro with factory running boards, auto trans, tire are one size taller(265/75/16) the spare tire removed(weight saving…lol), everything else on the truck is as they come from the factory. All runs are performed using a dragy, Without the supercharger the truck ran the 1/8th mile in 10.45sec and 0-60 8.12 sec.
After installing the supercharger the truck definitely felt faster but I was a little reluctant to give a review right away because I felt like it could do better with more miles on the truck and the computer learning what to do with the new found power. Truthfully I am very happy with my purchase the truck just keeps improving and getting faster and with a few more goodies this truck will be running high 8sec 1/8 mile times soon. Today with the cooler temp I was able to run a 9.43 1/8th mile and 0-60 in 6.3 sec I am very happy with both and believe a 9.3sec 1/8th will be soon. All runs were performed in 4wd, so there is definitely some drive train loss but in 2wd she just lights up the tires.
Sorry if spelling or grammar sucks

    Nice!
That agrees with my own testing. My 2018 TRD off-road with stock everything was 8 seconds on a good day. My best since then was 6.38 seconds with the SC, but only reliably 7-7.5 because of absurd axle hop.

I’ve haven’t done any 4wd launches with mine. I bet my new clutch could handle some spectacular launches. I’ll have to give it a try. Pray for my driveshaft lol.

Has anyone installed a Body Armor Hiline Series Bumper with winch? Any issues with fitment? Any major modifications to make it fit due to supercharger?

Just an update regarding the Yotawerx FI tune. @mZiggy and @tonered have been working diligently to bring this option to the forced induction crowd. This truck is one of the test mules for the manual transmission tune and I can tell you guys that it is coming along very well. With each revision the truck becomes more responsive. I think you guys are going to be very happy with this one.

I gotta say I'm pretty stoked to get a better tune for the s\c!

For those if us that have only ever had the Magnuson s\c and the tune kit they provide (lite version of vFtuner and the obdII adapter) will we have to purchase the regular version in order to flash this new tune? Any idea on costs for the tune just yet? Just trying to see how much further I might have to reach in my pocket, know what I'm sayin'?

You won’t have to buy anything other than the tune.

That's awesome news! So I take it the lite version is for flashing only and the regular version allows you to actually tune your truck (in a custom format)

Can you guys give details on their tune? Major improvements being focused on? Do they plan to be a little less conservative on the performance side? Maybe push it to 6-7 psi? etc?

I have been testing my kit in the mountains of Georgia. The shifting points is pretty bad especially going up hill. When it should drop down for a steep incline it almost feels like the throttle gives out for a split second, then shifts properly. Very wierd.

As we should! A lot of work behind the scenes.

The test trucks in the wild for the Yotawerx test tune @a2lowvw, (helping to iron out the auto trans version) and this truck, (helping to iron out the MT version) are both running and boosting on the street. There are so many aspects to developing a proper polished tune from scratch… More than just peak power. Low end torque, throttle response and shift points are elements specific to your particular issue/question and yes… these are all being addressed. To put things into perspective each of us has around 10 revisions into this tune. Each one takes time, effort and expertise to address different aspects of the tune in a safe manner and we have more to go. I appreciate the work that @mZiggy and @tonered and @a2lowvw are putting into this. It is an incredible time suck. After seeing the amount of time and effort, after spending hours of my personal time, I would gladly pay $500+ for the polished end product. Being part of the development for this tune… being able to say I played a small part in pushing the FI community forward… priceless.

Patience my friend. Good things to come.

Edit to correct format. Any chance it could be produced in the .vft format? only asking for someone I know who has not upgraded but has a full (editing of tunes allowed) license. 04B04 ECU ID. Suppose that person could do the update but they have no use other than a SC tune since they went F.I. ?

Thanks - I should have said .vft - just shows how long it has been since I flashed V7 in .vft. Guess all Maggy tunes are .vfc now.
??? thought I read you had options in the drop down menu to switch to .vft. If not ---- well then I guess I will bite the bullet and update.

I would think that anyone who has the Maggy kit has VF Lite from them at minimum, and so they shouldn't have to worry about file format.

    Maybe I'm wrong?

Edit: is this in reference to anyone who has perhaps purchased a "tuner kit"? i.e. supercharger without a tune?

not me. but I am sure there will be many who do buy the SC kit w/o the Tune (Software) and then look for a subsequent tune. I never downloaded the Maggy Lite Software as at the time Matt was on 1.2.8. and the tunes Maggy released were .vft. obviously that has all changed. Likely I will go to the VFT site and download since I have my master key - if not I can go back to Maggy with my information (VIN) and get their lite version. Just trying not to load "another" version on my computer. Seems like the versions changed / update every month or so for a while. Maybe a stable and secure version is out now.
