Saw the stickers on dash and interior "mods" then I clicked on the seller profile. Makes sense now.

@eon_blue we have a professional photographer coming over today to take new equipment photos for our website.... using our shop as his "studio". On a scale of asinine to not possible, how professional do you have to be to make this look good?

I assume he's gonna be bringing a white background or seamless backdrop and probably a few strobe lights, won't be hard. For product stuff on white you basically just roll one thing onto the set, shoot it from different angles then roll the next thing on. Unless you guys are looking for more editorial/lifestyle kinds of photos, like stuff in action or being used in a shop. That would be a different kind of shoot though

You guys are looking for this kind of thing right, to display on web?

    Screen Shot 2021-11-08 at 11.03.41 AM.png

should be pretty easy for him/her, if there's a lot of stuff to shoot it's pretty fast to do it on that kind of set

the only thing would be having the photographer (or more likely one of you guys) to "style" the products so they look right. Like winding up the cords the way they should be and stuff like that.

I'm kind of tempted to buy it just for the seats and a couple of other little parts on it and then pretty it up and launch it. It looks like other than the exterior damage it's actually in pretty okay condition and the price is right even if I can't talk them down

No white seamless? If he's planning on cutting them off that garage door backdrop in photoshop then he's gonna be in for some long ass hours of editing, woof

I personally think we need more editorial/lifestyle type shots but I just build em, I don't sell em. So I don't really know what customers want to see

The cloth seats seam to be highly sought after.

Those kinds of images you would use for ads, emails, social media, landing pages on the website, etc. For product shots though you want super clean, sterile environment looking images that just show the product how it is for the most part. But yeah ideally you would have a mix of both for different kinds of usage

Yeah Toyota leather is hard and thin so they have to put hard cushions under it to avoid stretching and tearing. I'd rather have the soft cloth couches.

@Abeyancer a good friend of mine lives in Eugene, OR (good drive from WA I know) but he's a great product photographer and travels all over to shoot. He was just in Mexico actually doing some drone video for a resort campaign. Anyway if you guys need someone in the future I can send you his info, he'd be particularly good with the lifestyle stuff.

Until talking with you just now, I had no idea just how bare our website is lol.. it's a good thing we sell to construction guys mostly and they probably don't care

Just went back there and he's got all his lights on but noooo back drop of any kind. Offered him a sheet of 4'x8' white foam(cause we don't have anything else) and he was so appreciative hopefully I saved him a lil bit of work on the back end
