Strawberry Peak in the San Bernardino Mountains (Southern California). It's a bummer that the haze rolled in during the afternoon, because normally you'd see the (very populated) valley floor about 5500 feet below.

It was kind of a polluted haze, LOL. When we drove up the mountain earlier in the day and stopped at a turnout along the Rim of the World Highway, it was just a hazy marine layer that was only visible out toward the coast (yes, you can easily see LA, the coastline, and Catalina Island easily on a clear day). We spent the day up at Arrowhead Village and by the time we wandered up to the fire lookout at Strawberry Peak, it had rolled in and looked like this. :(

Yea it's real pretty up in those hills. Northern Cal too - been to Mount Tam a few times overlooking the Golden Gate when the
fog rolled in ... rolls right over your ankles and moves up and before you know it you are knee deep in fog - kinda spooky and
funky but something everyone should see. Wish I had my camera and lens sets back then.

This was from 1 or 2 months ago. Someone parked their sailboat and rv at the boat ramp and I figured it would make a good pic haha

Whenever I’m home from college I like to chill here at this boat ramp. Back in May I was doing an online class and a sheriff pulled up and thought I was suspicious for spending so much time at this boat ramp

Usually in the summer this place will be packed with people who want to watch the sunset.
