Hey, random question; What year is the bike in your avatar picture...? Appears to be a Honda of some sort...

 

That is a 1981 Honda CX500C.

Purchased in 2011 as a wrecked non-running bike. Full restore to OEM condition from road to handlebar, wheel to wheel. I am responsible for the paint job, its as close to OEM as possible. It was a daily rider year round after the restore.

The bike currently has been sleeping since January 2014 when I took a position out of country. Now, the budget and Covid are keeping it asleep. Hopefully, Spring of 2022 will have me in the wind again.

 

Sweet! Rebuilt/salvage title or clear title? What kinda mileage you get?

 

Clear title, not a salvage title.

It gets 50-52 mpg. It gives 1000 smiles/mile. Turns many heads and random conversations from strangers.

Odometer has nearly 45 kmiles.

 

4-cylinder?

 

2 cylinder V-twin, water cooled, shaft drive, 5 speed (1 down, 4 up) no reverse.

Gotta go. My dog says its time for a relief walk.
