A bit under the weather the last couple of day. Fingers crossed it’s not covid but symptoms are very much flu like. Suki is doing her part trying to take care of her daddy.

Several years ago, a decade even, my work had a space shuttle theme for one of our refuel outages. I asked the supervisor at the time if I could be Major Don for the outage. He got such a kick out of that he called me that up until his passing. RIP.
Amongst my close coworkers it was kind of a jab, that something going horribly wrong. As in come loose from the capsules tether. Here goes Cricket chilling next to me earlier today.

 

You take care of yourself now! Don't mean to cause you alarm but I lost a good golf buddy to covid complications; he was just 58. Get tested for it and the flu to be sure. Kevin ran a high fever and was bringing up green mucous before being admitted to the hospital to monitor his heart.

 

Exactly, cause it looks like Suki needs you. Get well soon.

 

Sad night, this is our last night with the foster family—we have had these guys for 8 weeks. Momcat and the kittens will go back to Humane Heroes in Leander TX tomorrow morning and be available for adoption on Wednesday November 10th. Momcat is young (probably ~1 year) very, very sociable and laid back. She will be a great addition to any family, she likes to be picked up, purrs immediately and has been exposed to our dog and our cats and ignores/blends in without issue. Her four kittens are a great bunch. Over the past week they have been exposed to our dog and other cats to help with their socialization. Their physical and mental development has been great, Googley (the runt) is catching up with his siblings in the weight department…all are eating solid food, are robust and very healthy. If anyone in Central Texas is looking to adopt please consider these guys…per Humane Heroes stipulation permanent homes need to be indoor cats only. Any question fee free to ask me here or PM me.

 

Oh man that’s terrible! I’m sorry that you and his loved ones had to go through that. I was supposed to travel at the end of the week so I thought it would be the responsible thing to do to get tested. Results of rapid test came back negative.
Just lying low and resting and other than a slight yet persistent headache I’d say I’m feeling a little better. Thank you for the thought for sure!!!

 

Thank you for the well wishes. She’s been particularly clingy the last few days. I’m sure she knows somethings up. Slept for a while yesterday and when I woke up she had returned back to the same spot and I never felt her come back.

 

Has anyone seen this in their cat?

It's been a while but my cat has a grey stain on one of her fangs, but just on the surface, like a spot that was drawn over with a lead pencil. Does not go away when scratched. Does not look like rotten tooth discoloration at all and the tooth actually looks healthy and is solid. Gums look okay too. Other fang starts showing a similar stain. I noticed the stain started this summer when she lost two tiny incisors nearly overnight (not broken or anything, they just disappeared)

She has no difficulty eating and she even has recently started to hunt a lot and eat birds and mice whole, so I don't think she has painful teeth either
(By the way, she eats like a pig, so she's not hunting because she's hungry)

 

Nothing I’ve ever seen before but her teeth actually look nice and white. Is she fairly young?

 

she's three years old. I've tried to train her to let me brush her teeth since she was a kitten but to no avail, so I'm doing what I can :/
