I feel lucky to have normal problems like guiding untrained people through Linux command line commands over the phone while trains are going by.

Girlfriend has the real struggle- early Ed childcare is a disaster right now. Understaffed, over worked, sick kids, the whole enchilada.

So I have a costco sized jar of whole pears that a friend gave to me. What does one do with that many pears?

Reminds me of the time my friends and I worked as scabs during a grocery worker strike in our town back when we were 18/19 years old. Worked full time at the meat market during the day and then did graveyards as a grocery stocker scab for $30/hour, which was a lot of money back in 2004 for a 19 year old.

Of course we had to sneak into the store and park blocks away so our cars didn't get torched but still

The league is genius. Should watch some more of it.

We had a kid on the robot team who always had a tactical vest on, and there was one pocket that always contained a single raw russet potato.

You forgot the lack of support from admin, teachers that don't want to fulfill contracted obligations saying it's "extra work", skipping state-law required meetings, and broken processes where standard procedure isn't being followed due to lack of training.

My wife's in the middle of fixing an entire elementary school because they're having trouble with a small caseload of approx. 20 special ed students...for the entire school.
