Yeah, kids are sensitive, and when their parents are stressed and the teachers are stressed, their behavior sucks. Then mix in being short of staff and one little emergency can get out of control in a hurry.

Not to mention they're all accident prone and constantly sticky for one reason or another.

I hate going into the kindergarten classrooms to fix things, I swear all of those children are sticky. It's like the moment they get to school someone hands them a PB&J or something.

Did you notice an uptick in getting sick when you started working there? I think for anyone that goes from not being around kids to being around them a lot, you get sick way more easily in the beginning. Kids are like pollinators for germs. I guess the plus side is that long term you have more immunity than most lol.

Not really but I fully expected to. I get sick sometimes for sure, but about as often as before difference being now I'm over a common cold in 3-4 days and as a kid it was usually a week and a half

yeah I'm (not) looking forward to when daycare starts up. There was a distinct uptick in us all getting sick when we started taking her to the local park everyday, but that eventually tapered off. Once daycare starts though I'm sure it will happen all over again

I bring a bottle of sanitizer with us to the park every time, in the beginning I even brought Clorox wipes haha. I see parents with babies doing that now and I'm just like 'resistance is futile, save your strength dude'.

I gave her a little hand sanitizer the other day and she immediately rubbed her hands into her eyes, that was fun

I've only been there once. Stepped into a PIzza Street (?) restaurant, completely drenched from riding in the rain, and they didn't mind a bit. Had a pizza, and then camped at the sketchiest campground I've ever stayed at. Good times
